Hollywood icon Tom Cruise and BTS member Jin are set to share the screen in an unexpected digital media crossover.
HYBE confirmed to Dispatch on May 12th that the Mission: Impossible star recently joined Jin for a recording of the show. “Tom Cruise participated in Jin’s self-produced web variety show ‘Run Jin,’” the agency stated, adding that the broadcast date will be announced at a later time.
This marks the first-ever on-screen encounter between the two global stars. According to reports, Cruise joined the show as part of his promotional tour for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, directed by Christopher McQuarrie.
The appearance also marks Cruise’s 12th visit to Korea, setting the record for the most visits by any Hollywood actor. He last touched down in 2023 to promote Dead Reckoning Part One, the previous installment in the action franchise.
Joining Cruise on this press tour are several cast members from the franchise, including Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, Greg Tarzan Davis, and director McQuarrie himself.
Meanwhile, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is set to hit theaters across South Korea on June 17th.
